KD Motors provides warranties up to 90 days on our retail vehicles,

90 DAYS – Agreed on prior to sale – covers all cars below 60,000 miles and under – 10 years of age

60 DAYS – for cars under 8 years old below 100,000 miles

30 DAYS – For cars older than 8 years – above 100,000 miles

Trade in clearance cars/ below £1000 – Sold without any warranty

We welcome any third party inspection prior to the purchase of your car

The warranty covers all major mechanical problems related to engine, gearbox and mechanics of the vehicle.

We have over 3 workshops who carry out any warranty work needing done to our vehicles, how ever prior to sale all vehicles are inspected  and any faults are rectified giving you peace of mind.

WARRANTY COVER :

ENGINE – rocker assembly, including hydraulic followers, inlet & exhaust valves, springs & guides, Cylinder head, cylinder head gasket, push rods, camshaft & followers, timing gears and chains, oil pump, pistons and rings, cylinder bores, con rods, gudgeon pins and bearings, crankshaft bearings, inlet manifold, flywheel and ring gear, – failure of belts are not covered, fluid/oil neglect which may cause failure is not covered.

MANUAL GEARBOX – Internal gears, synchromesh hubs, selectors, shafts, bearings and transfer gears

ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM – Water pump

ELECTRIC SYSTEM – Starter motor and alternator

AUTO GEARBOX –  Internal shafts, gears, clutches, brake bands, valve blocks, oil pump, bearings and bushes, drive plate and transfer gears

BRAKES – Brakes master cylinder

DIFRENTIAFEL – Internal crown wheel and pinion, gears, shafts, bearing and bushes

CLUTCH – Centre plate, pressure plate, release bearings, master and slave cylinder – Reckless driving and clutch abuse it not covered – the clutch system will need to be fully inspected

RWD – Half shafts

FWD – Drive shafts, CV Joint, Universal Joints and couplings – not gaiters

CAR HISTORY CHECKS:

All the cars stocked by KD Motors  have some form of check carried to verify mileage, insurance back ground, accident reports and police records.

we can give you peace of mind that the car which you buy from us has had all appropriate checks carried out – we welcome any other checks which you may wish to carry out.
